The song I chose to analyze is called "Scars To Your Beautiful" by Alessia Cara (2015). The message the song is essentially trying to convey is about one's body image. The world sets all these beauty standards for people but in reality you really are pretty the way you are. Starving ourselves in order to get skinny so that we can love ourselves is not the way to go and we are in this perception that there is only a one of a kind "beauty standard". In the lyrics it mentions

"Deeper than the eyes can find it

Maybe we have made her blind"

This talks about how much we have invested into ourselves into looking like the "perfect person" that we completely disregard that in fact we are beautiful in our unique ways. Throughout, Alessia has this pattern where in the beginning of the paragraph she will address the extremities that ladies go through such as "she craves attention" or "what's a little bit of hunger?", but then she continues to address the things 'models' do to look perfect and that its all about the world perspective and how they think. She goes onto pouring her emotions in detail by explaining that the true beauty goes unnoticed because you are too worried about the features you should 'have had'. The scars are what are beautiful.
